The Community was founded shortly after the war as an attempt, by creating an industrial solidarity, to make war impossible between the European nations. The fact that this has been so successful is no small achievement. Soon thereafter, the ambitions of the original six countries of the Community broadened towards Europe'sFile Size: KB.
